Alessandra Baldereschi
"Wunderkammer"
Wunderkammer (in English “Room of Wonders”) is a German expression used to indicate specific
locations where, between the 16th and 18th century, collectors used to keep extraordinary objects. We
imagined a historical mansion where some contemporary elements insert old decors and valuable
paintings. A harmonious exchange between the past and the present that enhances the mansion and
its beauty.
Biography
After being contaminated by the Japanese taste, collaborating with some companies in the Gifu district, Alessandra returned to Italy to work with different bright realities on the international scene. Among his exhibitions stand out the Biennale of Saint Etienne, Inside Design Amsterdam, the Seoul Design Festival and the Moss Gallery in New York. In 2010 Alessandra is appointed among the ten best new generation designers from AD Spain.
